Seven States and Abuja, Nigeria's Federal Capital Territory attrac ted over $2.7billion worth foreign direct Investment within first six months of 2021, the National Bureau of Statistics NBS has revealed
Lagos State according to the statistics released by the bureau, top the list of Investment with huge $2.34billion, distantly follow by Abuja which attracted $413.7million while Anambra State is next with $4.1million worth of foreign investment
Kano State emerged fourth position with $2.4million, Ogun State is next with $1.1million, closely follow by Delta State which attracted $1million
Other below a million dollars mark of foreign investment inflow within the period under review, include Akwa-Ibom which attracted $740,000 and Kwara State with $230,000 worth of Investment
The county was able to attract such huge Investment into its economy, despite the serious security challenges confronting it , particularly in the North East and North West regions
