Ogun  Assures Investors Of Business Friendly Environment 



Ogun State Government has assured investors of creating business friendly environment, that  would enhance their investments, promising to improving on the ease of doing business in the State.

 Governor Dapo Abiodun gave the assurance during the commissioning of Eat and Go Limited office in Magboro, Obafemi/Owode Local Government Area, saying Ogun is the most preferred destination of choice for investors in the South West.

Abiodun represented by the State Commissioner for Industry, Trade and Investment, Mrs. Kikelomo Longe,  noted that the State was in the front line for investment with conducive environment, called on prospective investors to open their businesses in the State.

"We welcome prospective investors to come on board and enjoy the enabling business-friendly environment. Ogun State will continue to collaborate with our budding industrialists and domestic entrepreneurs to effect a flawless synergy", the Governor said.

Also speaking, the Head of Development and Project, Eat and Go Limited, Mr. Sola Adeeko said the company's efforts at widening its horizon, necessitated the newly constructed plant, which is the biggest in West Africa.

Meanwhile, the State Government has asked companies operating in the state to leverage on the competitive advantage that abound in the state

The State Commissioner for Investment, Trade and Investment, Mrs Kikelomo Longe made call during a courtesy visit to Mikano Nigeria Limited, Magboro 

Longe said the government has tailored the State's physical planning, as well as made provision for relevant infrastructure to meet the need of existing and potential investors in the State, commending the company for contributing to the economic growth of the State.

Speaking earlier, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry Mr. Olu. Ola. Aikulola, lauded the company for employing Nigerians and diversifying into other lines of business, assuring that the Ministry would continue to relate with industries operating in the State.

Responding, the Chief Executive Officer, Mikano International Limited, Mr. Najir Jierir said the company has been recruiting from the host community, adding that it had invested in capacity building of its members of staff to widened their scope of knowledge.
