Ogun NUT Elects New Officers



Ogun State wing of the Nigeria Union of Teachers NUT has elected its new officers to run the union's affairs for the next four years

The new officers elected during the union's quadrennial delegates conference on Tuesday in Abeokuta, the state capital include, Comrade Akinola Abiodun of the Community International Primary School, Afintedo, Imeko, as Chairman while Comrade Okulalu Olufemi (Christ Apostolic Grammar School, Iperu-Remo) is the Deputy-Chairman 

Also four Vice Chairmen were elected at the conference monitored by the police and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)

They are Comrade Orukotun Mesileya Abel(Saint David Anglican Primary School) as 1st Vice-Chairman, Comrade Abiodun Oriyomi (Saint Francis Primary School,Igboslro, Ogijo) as 2nd Vice-Chairman, Comrade Ajisegiri V.A (Nawair -Ud-Deen Grammar School, Obantoko, Abeokuta) as 3rd Vice-Chairman and Comrade Ogunrombi Abel (Comprehensive High School, Ayetoro) as 4th Vice-Chairman

Others are Comrade Oyolola S.A (All Saints Anglican Nursery/Primary School)who emerged as the State Treasurer, Comrade Adesanya C.O (Igan Moslem Ago-Iwoye) as Internal Auditor 1, Comrade Koya Abimbola ( Baptist Boys High School, Abeokuta) now Auditor 2, Comrade Muideen Wasiu (Local Government Primary School) elected as Publicity Secretary and Comrade Adeniji F.B (Oke-Pata Community High School,Ifo ) as Social Secretary

The rest are Comrade Ogunmona Omoyemi Alice (Local Government Primary School, Remo ) elected as Assistant Social Secretary, Comrade Iyabode Azeez(Imowo United Primary School, Imowo) emerged as National Representative and Comrade Olaifa Olakunle (Christ Apostolic Church School 1) as State Editor
