Ogun FA Boss Celebrates Remo Stars Owner, Kunle Soname At 55



Executive Board member of the Nigeria Football Federation and Chairman, Ogun State Football Association, Alhaji Ganiyu Majekodunmi has continued to shower encomium on Hon.Kunle Soname, owner of Remo Stars Football Club of Ikenne-Remo who celebrated his 55th birthday on Tuesday, April 27

Majekodunmi described the financier of the second tier, Nigeria National League (NNL) side as a passionate and iconic sports lover who deserves to be celebrated everyday.

The Ogun FA Chairman says, he is always astonished whenever he thinks about the zeal and achievement of Hon. Soname.

Majekodunmi who praises  Soname, for his Investment in football and sports both home and abroad, stressed the need for every stakeholder to rally round the celebrant and pray for him on the occasion of his birthday.

"To a new birthday celebration, everyone of us at Ogun State Football Association are delighted to be associated with him, we wish him many happy returns in sound health and multiple blessings,"he added



According to Majekodunmi, "Honourable Soname is an acute optimist and a go-to individual when it comes to the development of sports from the scratch and taking it to an enviable height, it's our prayer that the Lord continue to strengthen him and keep his household safe".


Apart from Remo Stars football club, Hon. Soname became the first Nigerian to acquire a club in Europe when he bought Portuguese side CD Feirense in 2015, He's also the owner and financier of Remo Stars Table Tennis club.

Edu-Biznews also lauded the Celebrant for his passionate support to the Remo Stars FC who are currently topping the Group B2 of the Southern Conference of the Nigeria's second division league and now play home matches at its stadium at Ikenne-Remo with astro-turf pitch and standard three practising pitches
