The Ogun State Government is fine-tuning process of establishing a $20m Integrated Waste Management Facility in Ogun West Senatorial District, as part of waste management reform of converting waste to wealth.

Oresanya explained that preliminary work had started on the facility, which would consist of a recycling unit and sorting slab, where plastics, papers and metals would be turned to wealth, adding that it would also convert organic waste to fertilisers for the use of farmers.

The Special Adviser said upon completion, the facility would provide employment opportunities for youths and women in Ilobi and its environs
