Ogun State Government has assured every applicant for its Kobape Affordable Housing Estate of no preferential treatment in the allocation of houses
The State Ministry of Housing promised that there would not be favouritism for applicants upon the completion of the application forms, saying the ministry will follow due process and ensure only individuals who meet the requirements are allotted without delay or favouritism.
The State Commissioner for Housing, Jagunmolu Akande Omoniyi gave the assurance while fielding questions from newsmen on Kobape site of the housing project, near Abeokuta, the state capital
The housing projects according to him, has reached a completion stage and will be delivered to the allottees in due course.
Jagunmolu says providing affordable housing for people of the state is paramount to this administration, which prompted completion of Prince Court Estate, phase 1 of 130 units and other housing projects across the State.
Expressing satisfaction on professionalism by artisans working on site, the commissioner said government would do more by engaging the state owned artisans which would create more employment for them.
