Jigawa Golden Stars worsened the woes of the relegation threatened FC Ifeanyi Ubah of Nnewi after ending their Tuesday's rescheduled Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) week 17 match on a two-all draw
Ifeanyi Ubah had taken the lead twice in the encounter,through third minute strike by Igboeli and Molokwu who scored from the penalty spot in the 60th minute
The homeside, however failed to sustain the lead, allowing the visitors to come back twice in the 50th and 73rd minutes of the match, to remain at the 19th position with 15points just four points ahead of the bottom placed Adamawa United who on the 11points
It was a good outing for Enugu Rangers who moved from fourth to second place, to share the 30points with leaders , Kwara United of Ilorin
Rangers at home on Monday, were two goals better than the visitors, Nasarawa United of Lafia in the match that saw the homeside scoring two quick goals through Aniefiok and Chinonso in the second and eight minutes respectively
Enyimba International of Aba also climed the ladder to the fifth spot with 27points , after securing a vital lone-goal win on the road against the homeside, Sunshine Stars of Akure who are still at the 15th position with 18points, behind Jigawa Golden Stars who are on the 14th position with 19points
