OSAMCA Sets To Empower 7,250 Entrepreneurs In Ogun




Ogun State Agricultural and Multipurpose Credit Agency (OSAMCA) has revealed that no fewer than 7,250 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and Limited companies operating in the State have expressed interest in accessing the agency's loan facility, ranging between N10,000 and N10m  

The General Manager, OSAMCA, Hon. Olugbenga Abolaji-Israel made this known while speaking with newsmen in Abeokuta, the state capital.

He stated that all legitimate entrepreneurs particularly farmers, as well as individuals and cooperative societies whose application are successful could access the loan.

"We have started selling forms for entrepreneurs to obtain loans this year. The loan facility will have 5,000 micro businesses to access N100,000 each, 2,000 Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) will have N1m, 200 businesses to get N5m, while 50 Limited companies can also access up to N10m", he said.

The General Manager added  that the sale of forms would continue throughout the year, while applications would be processed within six weeks.

He assured  that loan applicants who access the facility for agricultural purposes, would enjoy a moratorium of three to four months with assistance to purchase farm machineries.

 "Also available is the stock of tractors and implement at Agro Services Corporation Office, Asero Abeokuta. Interested members of the public can visit the location for inspection", Abolaji-Israel said.
