NPFL Day-5: Enyimba Suffer Another Defeat



Nigeria's CAF Confederation Cup Campaigners,Enyimba International of Aba suffered another defeat on the road in Ilorin, losing by a lone-goal to host, Kwara United in the mid-week rescheduled Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) match.

The Aba Elephants could not cancel-out an early goal scored by Steven in the sixth minutes for Kwara United Football Club who are now in the 9th position on the league table  with eight points from five matches played.

Edu-Biznews recalled that the Coach Fatai Osho tutored side had earlier lost to Heartland FC by two/nil away in Owerri before suffering another defeat in the hands of the Kwara United Boys

Enyimba are in the 5th position on the table with nine points from five matches, behind the league leaders, Rivers United with 12points, Nasarawa United (11points) while Lobi Stars  and Enugu Rangers are in the the third and fourth positions respectively with 10 points each . 

The bottom placed teams are FC Ifeanyi Ubah of Nnewi (four points), Heartland of Owerri (three points), Adamawa United (two points) and Abia Warriors who are lanquashing at the bottom of the table with just a point.
