EDU-BIZ NEWS gathered from the Head
of Public Affairs of WAEC in Nigeria Demianus Ojijeogu, said that it would take
maximum of 45days period to release the results of the 2020 Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination.
This indicates that the results should be
released by late October.
The examination council explained
that "it would keep to 45 days after the last paper (September 12) was
written to release the results and work to meet the deadline."
The West African Senior Secondary
Certificate Examination was taken between August 17, 2020 and Saturday, September 12, which means that the
council would release the results latest by October 27– 45 days after.
“Before the outbreak of COVID-19,
we usually released it 45 days after the last paper on the timetable must have
been taken. We are working on meeting that timeline.”
