MAPOLY Bids Farewell To Late Distinguished Alumnus, Alhaji Surajudeen Bada



The Chairman/Chief Executive of SurryB Petroleum, late Alhaji Surajudeen Adebisi Bada has been described as an icon of transformation and development.

Alhaji Bada was one of the first set of students admitted to the Ogun State Polytechnic in 1979 to study Accountancy.

He was the second National President of the Ogun State Polytechnic Alumni Association and the first Chairman, Committee of Distinguished Alumni (CODA).

Adebisi was highly resourceful, and committed to the development of the Polytechnic and many that came in contact with him.

His last engagement with the Polytechnic was his award as Distinguished Alumni at the dinner marking the 15th Combined Convocation Ceremony, held on Monday, 23rd June, 2025.

The Rector, Arc. Dr. Babatunde Adekoyejo Jolaoso in a statement by Head, Public Relations & Protocol of the institution, 

 on behalf of the Management, Staff, and Students of the Polytechnic,Yemi Ajibola, 
commiserates with the family and friends especially the National Association  of MAPOLY Alumni.

He prays for the repose of Alhaji Bada’s soul and the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
