No fewer than 177 graduands at the 9th Convocation of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti in Ekiti State, have bagged First Class Bachelor Degrees
A total of 8,444 graduating students were awarded degrees across undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels during the two-day event held on Friday and Saturday inside the university’s 1000-seater Auditorium, a state-of-the-art facility commissioned by the administration of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Abayomi Fasina
The degrees were awarded to graduands from the Faculty of Education, Faculty of Science, FUOYE Business School and the School of Postgraduate Studies on Saturday
Earlier on Friday’s convocation, degrees were conferred on graduates from the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Communication & Media Studies, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Management Sciences, and the Faculty of Social Sciences.
The convocation ceremonies according to official journal of the university, highlighted the university’s commitment to academic excellence and the development of world-class infrastructure under the leadership of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Abayomi Fasina.
The 1000-seater Auditorium, where the event was held, stands as a testament to the administration’s dedication to providing a conducive learning and celebratory environment for students and staff alike.
