Oyo SUBEB Begins Recruitment Of More Teachers For Public Primary Schools

Oyo State Government on Tuesday began the process of recruitment of more teachers with opening of its job portal from 6:00pm to address the problem of shortage of teaching staff in public primary schools 

Chairman of the  State Universal Basic Education Board, Dr Nureni Adeniran, made this known during a news conference at the Board’s headquarters in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

He added that the opening of the portal for the recruitment exercise was part of the state government’s bid to reduce unemployment among residents in the state 

Adeniran he explained that the portal would register each candidate with his/her email, phone number, and National Identification Number, among other requirements, to provide suitable jobs, either as teachers or caregivers.
