The National Examinations Council (NECO) has digitised the recruitment process for Examination Supervisors and Assistant Supervisors for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) as well as the Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) for both school and external candidates respectively
Acting Director, Information and Digital Communication of the council, Azeez Sani who made this known in a statement on Sunday, said that the
digitisation was to check sharp practices in the recruitment process and to enhance efficiency and effective service delivery.
"Digitisation process involves migration from the manual recruitment of Supervisors and Assistant Supervisors to online system, would ensure that Supervisor Nomination forms, Appointment Letters and Supervisor e-Photo Albums are generated on-line", he stated
Similarly, the routine swapping of supervisors and.k would be done online
“Interested qualified Teachers with NCE, Degree Certificate, Master Degrees, PhD and Professors are eligible to apply as Supervisors and Assistant Supervisors for BECE or SSCE Internal or External.
It could be recalled that before the digitisation system, recruitment of Supervisors and Assistant Supervisors for NECO examinations was done manually by the Council", the statement stated
