Ogun State House of Assembly has put on hold its planned budget performance appraisal of year 2024 Appropriation Law scheduled to commence on Monday, 22nd 2024.
Deputy Clerk of the Assembly, Barr. ( Mrs.) Funmi Adeyemi who announced the postponement in a statement made available to Edu-Biznews on Saturday, however said that other schedules of the Assembly would continue as planned.
She clarified that other various Committee works slated for the same period would continue including the ongoing consideration of the Audit reports on Ministries, Departments and Agencies of Government by the House Committee on Public Accounts and Anti-Corruption which continues on Monday, April 22nd, 2024.
Also, the House Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs' budget performance appraisal on the 20 Local Government Councils will begin on Tuesday, April 23rd , 2024.
