No fewer than nineteen (19) students have been suspended for examination malpractices at the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, while two other students were given warning letters to desist from such unholy act
Four of the suspended students, will be on suspension for two semesters while the remaining 15 were placed on suspension for four semesters, according to a report by the Institution's Examination Misconduct Panel On The First Semester Examination for the 2022/2023 Academic Session, obtained by Edu-Biznews on Monday
Head Of Public Relations Unit of the institution, Mr. Yemi Ajibola reacting to the development, said that the report showed drastic reduction in the number of students involvement in examination malpractices when compare with the previous reports on the exams misconduct
The reduction according to him, shows that the efforts of the management of the Ogun State Government owned foremost tertiary institution on sensitization against such examination malpractices and moulding the students for acceptance in the labour market, are yielding positive results
" It shows that in the nearest future,there will be no students in MAPOLY involved in such examination malpractices
