Vice-Chancellor Urges Students To Support LASU's War Against Cultism, Indecent Dressing, Drugs Abuse, Others


 



Vice-Chancellor of the Lagos State University Ojo, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello
has urged both old and fresh students for the  2023/2024 academic session to join hands with the institution in its fight against Cultism, indecent dressing, drug abuse and others  by shunning such unholy act 

The Vice-Chancellor welcoming both the old and fresh students back to university, appealed to them to always report  such vices and other forms of harassment to the appropriate office for immediate action 

"Our goal is to build a university where you, my world-class students, can achieve your goals without fear or intimi7dation. Please support us by abstaining from every form of vices, including indecent dressing, cultism, drugs, and all forms of harassment, and reporting same to the appropriate offices in the university," she stated

She charged them  to always make hardwork their watchword while reminding them  on the need to give more priority to their academic pursuit at the university 


"As we begin the new session, I urge you, my world-class students, to make hardwork your watchword. Your academic pursuit is your primary assignment on this campus; give it your very best. As an administration, we shall continue to give you all the support you need and provide the right environment for you to thrive"

"I am particularly excited to welcome our new intakes to the best State University in Nigeria. I congratulate you on gaining admission into our prestigious institution and assure you that you are in the best university you could be right now" , she expressed with excitement
