Management of the Lagos State University Ojo, has raised alarm over impersonation of its Vice Chancellor, Prof.Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello on "Facebook page" to deceive users of the social media platform with aim of obtaining money from them to secure jobs or admission into the university
LASU in a Disclaimer issued over the weekend, said that the operators of the fake Facebook page has been using the name of the Vice-Chancellor to contact other Facebook users, promising to offer them jobs or securing admission for them
"Please be informed that Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello will never offer admission or jobs , neither will she ask for money from anyone via the social media", the management stated
"All members of the general public are therefore urged to disregard any friend request or message from the page ", the Disclaimer concluded
