The Ogun State Head of Service, Mr. Kolawole Fagbohun has attributed his achievements so far in public service to discipline and values inculcated in him during his studentship at the Egbado College in the ancient town of Ilaro
Fagbohun who was speaking in his office at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, while hosting his alumni, Egbado College Old Students’ Association, who came to celebrate him on his new appointment, promised not to disappoint or bring shame to them.
The number one Civil Servant while appreciating God for the gift of life and Governor Dapo Abiodun for the appointment, described Egbado College as a great school that laid the foundation of greatness in its students, by instilling discipline, diligence, steadfastness, perseverance and passion to serve humanity.
" I thank God for what I have gone through in service, we have been taught at Egbado college that we must be compassionate and there are two principles of handling human beings, they are firmness and fairness and these I have been deploying since I joined service. On this job, I will be fair to all, I will handle issues and people with the fear of God", he assured
In their testimonies, a retired Permanent Secretary, TPL.Ayodeji Megbope, the Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Governor, Mr. Dahunsi Ogunleye and the Vice Chairman of the Association, Mr. Femi Odubiyi described Mr. Fagbohun as a dedicated officer who was passionate about his job, promising to continue supporting him to have a successful tenure.
The Head of Service also received in his office, management staff of Ministry of Environment and Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OOUTH) led by the Permanent Secretary, Engr. Rasaq Ojetola, and the Chief Medical Director, Dr. (Mrs) Bunmi Fatungase respectively.
