Presidential candidate for New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP), Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has reinstated the committment of the party to provision of free fees for Nigerian students writing West African Senior School Certificate Examinations WASSCE and Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination UTME, if elected at the 2023 presidential poll in the country
Kwankwaso addressing crowd of supporters on Thursday at the Ogun State Secretariat of party in Abeokuta, stressed that no student should be denied qualitative education because of social status of parent of such child, saying provision of sound education at all levels is part of the blue print of NNPP
The presidential hopeful added that results obtained by successful candidates at UTME for admission into tertiary institutions in the country would be extended beyond one academic session but would only expired after four years period
The two-term former govermor also revealed that one million Nigerians would be recruited into security agencies to strengthen security architecture of the country
He was full of praises for the NNPP governorship candidate, Comrade Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo and State Chairman, Comrade, Olaposi Sunday Oginni for providing the right leadership, urging them to work harder for the electoral success of the party in 2023
High point of his visit was the commissioning of the party's secretariat at Adatan-Carwash area of the state capital
The 2023 Campaign Council was also inaugurated by Kwankwaso to kick-start the running of campaign activities for the party in the state
