Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has clinched another prestigious award in agriculture, with the latest award coming from the Presidency, through the National Agricultural Land Development Agency (NALDA) who adjudged him as Agriculture Friendly Governor of the Year Award
Edu-biznews recalled in 2021 that the governor was adjudged as best by stakeholders in the National Council for Agriculture
The colourful event held on Thursday at the Eagle Square in Abuja in honour of the governor, attracted dignitaries led by President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, ably represented by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation of Nigeria (SGF), Mr Boss Mustapha, CFR.
Other dignitaries present were the Honourable Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Mahmood Abubakar, Honourable Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, Excellencies and Ambassadors of Canada, Hungary, Spain and a host of other distinguished members of the diplomatic community, farmers groups, and other stakeholders in the Agricultural and allied sectors.
The Governor of Ogun State, has in the last two years, been honoured with national awards as the Best in Agricultural development and intervention for the benefit of his people.
They Governor continues to make history with consistent National Agricultural recognitions for three consecutive years.
The Governor was represented at the ceremony by the State Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Adeola Odedina.
