Ogun State Government has directed all Public and Private Primary including Secondary Schools, Government Science and Technical Colleges (GSTCs) and Government Technical and Vocational Colleges (GTVCs), to resume for the new 2022/2023 academic session on Monday, September 19, 2022.
The State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu issued the directive in a statement made available to Edu-biznews on Tuesday in Abeokuta
He said registration exercise of new intakes into various entrance classes had commenced at their respective public primary, Junior and Senior Secondary Schools from last Monday, September 12, 2022.
Arigbabu wished all learners a happy and fruitful new academic session.
Meanwhile the commissioner has announced the released of the placement list of primary six completers from public and private primary schools into neighborhood public junior secondary schools for the 2022/2023 academic session
Arigbabu in a statement enjoined public primary and junior secondary schools to login through https://ogsera.ogunstate.gov.ng, while the private primary schools should login to their respective online platform to access the placement list.
According to the release, Principals and School Portal Administrators (SPAs) of all public junior secondary schools were enjoined to allocate learners to classes using the action button against learners’ names after fulfilling all admission requirements.
