CAF Clubs Competition: Rivers Utd, Plateau Utd , Kwara Utd Face North African Oppositions As Remo Stars Crash Out

Nigerian League Champions, Rivers United of Port Harcourt will have their hands full when they clash with the defending champions, Wydad Casablanca of Morocco in the next round of CAF Champions League

The pride of Rivers scaled through their opponents from Liberia 3-1 in the first round of the continental clubs competition while Plateau United of Jos will take on  Tunisian Giants and four-time champions, Esperance after dismissing Madji of Gabon 3-2 on aggregate in the first round of the same competition

In CAF Confederation Cup, Kwara United who sustained their 3-0 advantage against their Niger Republic opponents to meet the cup holders,RS Berkane of Morocco in the second round of the second tier African Clubs' competition

However, it was a different story for Remo Stars of Ikenne-Remo who failed to advantage of their one-all draw as they lost one-nil to visiting ASFAR of Morocco in a return leg played on Sunday at Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne-Remo
