Ogun Govt Celebrates Outgoing School Feeding Programme Manager In Grand Style



Ogun State Government has  celebrated its outgoing Programme Manager of Home Grown School Feeding Programme (HGSFP) in the Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-governmental Affairs, Mrs. Mopeolola Osolukoya in a grand style 

The Permanent Secretary in the ministry , Dr. Rotimiolu Akinlesi  during a send-off organised for the outgoing Programme Manager at  Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, charged public servants to imbibe a sense of humility and dedication in the discharge of their duties, as they are sterling qualities that will distinguish them among their peers.

Akinlesi, who described Osolukoya as a woman of integrity and impeccable character, said the virtues had helped her to contribute immensely to the development of the State through her capacity in the position she held, stressing that her rich experience would be greatly missed.


He commended Osolukoya for her enviable approach to work, as well as her cordial relationship with colleagues and subordinates, urging her not to relent in service to humanity, even in retirement. 





D irectors in the Ministry also took turns to speak about the significance and impactful role played by her, emphasising the harmony she established among members of staff and wished her a fulfilling and worthwhile retirement

In her response, the retired Programme Manager, who is also a Director in the Ministry, appreciated the government for the opportunity to serve, admonishing Civil Servants to be upright and committed to duty, as well as avoid acts that could put the Service in disrepute.

Born on July 14, 1962, She joined the Ogun State Civil Service in  1990 as a graduate teacher at Mayflower School Ikenne where she served as the School Counsellor and also taught Literature in English, she was transferred to Sagamu High School, Sagamu from where she joined the mainstream as an Inspector of Education in the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.

She served in various capacities within the rank and file before her secondment to the Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-governmental Affairs to serve as the State Operation Officer for the Federal Government-driven Home Grown School Feeding Programme.

Osolukoya retired officially from the Service today Thursday, July 14, 2022, after 35 years of meritorious service to the State.
