A newly rehabilitated Ultra-modern student Central Cafeteria has been commissioned in Yaba College of Technology, Lagos
Rector of the institution, Engr. Obafemi Omokungbe who was
speaking on Thursday at the commissioning, noted that one of the mission of his administration was to renovate the old cafeteria and make it look like what it used to be in the early 80s.
He also revealed that his administration is set to turn the decapitated Student Union Building into a four story building, which one of the floors would be given to the Student Union Government, and the remaining floors would be let out for various activities.
Omokungbe further used the opportunity to call on corporate organizations to consider carrying out their corporate social responsibility programs, in partnership with the college, so that the name Yaba College of Technology would continue to be heard all over the world.
While giving the welcome address at the commissioning of the ultra-modern student central cafeteria, the Dean, Student Affairs, TPL RO. Balogun noted that students of YCT should always have it at the back of their mind that the school management has their interest at heart, that’s why they have made sure that the old cafeteria was rehabilitated into a modern one. #
