The Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC), Abuja in collaboration with Ogun State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), has concluded arrangement for the conduct of the 2022 National Personnel Audit (NPA) across the 20 Local Government Areas of the State.
The Executive Chairman of SUBEB, Dr. Femi Majekodunmi who made this known in a statement made available to Edu-Biznews on Monday in Abeokuta, explained that the exercise would hold between Sunday, May 29 to Sunday, June 26, 2022, to determine the actual Enrolment, Personnel and Infrastructural Facilities of all Basic Education Institutions (Public, Private, Registered and Non-Registered) in the State.
According to him, the essence of the exercise is to collate basic education data and is not intended to impose tax or charge any levy on school owners, adding that the audit would involve human and vehicular movement of officials of UBEC, State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, SUBEB, LGEAs, Private School Owners and Teachers’ Union from one basic school to another.
He enjoined relevant stakeholders and the general public to cooperate with the officials to ensure a hitch-free exercise.
