Over 80 Roads Reconstructed In 3 Year -Ogun Govt




Ogun State Government has revealed that over 80 Roads had been reconstructed within three years of the Prince Dapo Abiodun's administration in the state

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Works and Infrastructure, Engr. Babatunde Adesina who revealed this
during a radio programme in Abeokuta, monitored by Edu-Biznews,
 reiterated commitment to infrastructural development, especially on construction of roads across the three Senatorial Districts of the State.

 Adesina who highlighted the achievements of his Ministry in the last three years, added that some of the roads had been completed while others are ongoing and at different stages of completion in all the 20 Local Government Areas of the State.

He listed some of the completed roads to include, Ijebu-Ode - Epe road, Abeokuta-Sagamu, Osi-Ota- Ikola/ Ray power, Elite-Oke Lantoro roads, Lusada–FTZ, among others, while Atan-Lusada-Agbara, Ilaro-Owode, Lafenwa Rounder, Molusi College, Ijebu-Igbo, Kemta-Somorin, Oke-Ola, Imeko roads are nearing completion.

Adesina while pointing out the economic benefits of constructing Agro Cargo Airport in the State, sayd the impact is enormous on the development of agriculture and industrial sectors to further create direct and indirect employment for the citizens, assuring that the ongoing construction at the airport would be delivered in record time.

 The Special Adviser maintained that Prince Dapo Abiodun had left no stone unturned on the completion of inherited projects, saying the State government would continue to deliver dividends of democracy to the people.

He implored residents  to take ownership of constructions in their domains by desisting from indiscriminate dumping of refuse in drainages, advising motorists to maintain the stipulated speed limits on the road to avoid crashes.
