2023 Ogun Guber : Sen.Adeola (Yayi) Declares Total Support For Abiodun,...Offers To Give Ogun West Better Representation At Senate




Senator Solomon Adeola popularly as Yayi has  declared his total support for the second term ambition of Governor Dapo Abiodun who only few hours ago announced his intention to officially seek re-election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress APC at the 2023 governorship race in Ogun State

Adeola who pledged his loyalty to the Governor as leader of APC in the State during a media parley on late Thursday at his country home in the ancient town of Ilaro in Yewa South Local Government Area of the State, promised to offer the people of Ogun West Senatorial District a better representation if elected at party's primary slated for 18th of May and  returned at the general election in 2023 as ranking Senator

According to him, "Ogun West people deserve the best of representation at the senate and only the best among the aspirants that can facilitate Federal Government's developmental projects to the area" 

The Senator who relocated his polling station from Lagos West to ward 1, polling unit 001 in Ilaro in Ogun West, described the performance of the governor as highy encouraging and should be given another opportunity to complete the infrastructural and developmental projects across the state

He cited the efforts of the Abiodun's administration on the Owode-Ilaro Road , expressing confidence that the road would be completed before the expiration of the governor's first term in office, as  two construction firms are handling the ongoing road project

Adeola also noted the personal effort of the governor and his visit to the Minister of Works and Housing, Raji Fashola to ensure that the Abeokuta-Otta Road is fixed by the Federal Government who is now working towards reconstruct of the road

The Chairman Senate Committee on Finance and Appropriation, said that the people of Yewa Awori decided to support the second term ambition of Abiodun in 2023 and wait for the zone to produce the next governor in 2027

He ever expressed optimism that those behind the petition against the second term bid of Abiodun, would fail woefully, saying the petition lacked substance and can not stop the re-election of the governor in 2023

The Senator whose senatorial ambition has become a major threat to his fellow aspirants on the platform of APC, dismissed the impression in some quarters that he pocketed the party's structure in the district, to deny others to have access to leaders of the party

Adeola attributed his growing popularity among the leaders and members of APC to his consistency, loyalty and support to the growth of the party, saying he has remained in progressive since 2012 

He added that no one would deny any of the aspirants access  to the leaders of the party in the district

The Senator who failed twice in his previous attempt to relocate his political based from Lagos West, vowed to remain in Ogun West this time around and contest for the senatorial seat in 2023, promising to use his wealth of experience as a  two term senator to provide qualitative representation  for his people in Ogun West and fastrack development of the district
