Team-Ogun's players are set to compete at the balls games zonal elimination series for the 6th Edition of the National Youth Games.
The elimination series is scheduled to hold next week between September 1 and 5 at Ilaji Resorts Center and Hotels New Ibadan Road, Ibadan, Oyo State,
Ogun State Director of Sports,Mrs. Iyabode Rotimi made this known in a statement by the Head of Public Relations unit of the State Sports Council, Bola Giwa
The seven ball games include
Cricket, Basketball, Football, Handball, Hockey, Volleyball and Beach ball will be competed for at the elimination series.
The series is to select the best ball teams among Lagos, Ekiti, Ogun,Osun, Ondo and Oyo states that will represent the Southwest at the National Youth Games (NYG), scheduled to hold between 10th October - 20th October, 2021, at Ilorin, Kwara State.
The State is going with a total of Eighty-One (81) athletes.
