It was a celebration of the living and dead for proprieteress of Future Promise Group of Schools, Lantoro in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital,Mrs Olufunmilayo Irede Oginni, a frontline politician and entrepreuner, as she celebrated Chief (Mrs), Iyabode Maltida Apampa, a veteran politician, business woman and former Commissioner for Education Science and Technology in the state, who recently celebrated her 73rd birthday
The former Chairman of Unity Party of Nigeria UPN in the state also expressed her heart felt condolence to Governor Dapo Abiodun and his family over the death of their Patriach, Dr Emmanuel Adesanya Abiodun, a prominent educationist, fondly called "Baba Teacher",in Iperu-Remo in Ikenne Local Government Area of the state who died last Monday, 2nd of August, 2021
Celebrating Mama Apampa, a former Chairman of the Ogun/Osun River Basin Development Authority's board, Oginni described her as a role model whose quality of advice and words of encouragement has been a source of inspiration and accomplishment
Oginni showered encomium on the Celebrant whom she said treated her like daughter with words of advice which encourages her in politics and gives her the boldness to succeed in life
She prayed God to grant Chief (Mrs) Apampa, more years of protection, prosperity and good health to witness the day when somebody of Ogun West Senatorial District extraction becomes governor of the state
Her words,"Happy birthday to you my mother, my mentor, my role model, the woman of great substance, Chief ( Mrs) Iyabo Apampa.my God will bless you more. My God will protect you and Give you long life. You will not die now but live till old age of yours".
