The renewed leadership crisis rocking the Ogun State chapter of Inter Party Advisory Council of Nigeria IPAC worsened on Thursday, with the Labour Party Chairman in the state, Comrade Abayomi Arabambi insistence on being in charge
Arabambi in his quick response to Asiwaju Adedamola Adesina who is also claiming to be the chairman of IPAC, described him as a desperate political despot
Adesina in an interview with newsmen in Abeokuta from the sideline of the presentation of Certificates of Return to elected councillors by the State Independent Electoral Commission OGSIEC, accused Arabambi of impersonation, describing him as a political jobber who should not be seen as a serious politician
But Arabambi asked the public to ignore what he described as totally false, illegal and meaningless concocted news allegedly sponsored in the print media by Adesina against him
According to the State Chairman of Labour Party, "Adedamola ADESINA is a known Political miscreants with a disparaging piece of propaganda"
Arabambi asked the general public to disregard what he described as piece of distortion and poisonous lies and misinformation
His words,"The general public are here by advised to disregard and erase this piece of distortion, poisonous lies and mis information from their minds.
Adedamola is a dangerous pollution in Ogun State political space who is leading some gang of political merchants, illegally parading themselves as Ipac Executive members. Let me state on records that they are all co travellers on the belly-aching over the misfortune that befell their Political lives", he stated
The Labour Party boss insisted that nothing has changed in IPAC and that the Independent National Electoral Commission {INEC} has no power to dissolve his executive committee of IPAC in the state
According to him, "By the judgement of the Appeal Court, the temporary arrangements earlier in place was rendered ineffective, null and void as the INEC was ruled to be incompetent in law to de - register political parties in Nigeria".
" Nothing has changed in Ogun State Chapter of IPAC , Comrade Abayomi Arabambi remains the legal and the authentic State Chairman of the total registered political parties in Ogun State as Adedamola ADESINA remains my Political puppies",he concluded
