Two Nigeria's top sides, Enyimba International of Aba and Rivers United of Port-harcourt will extend their rivalry in the domestic Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) to the continental competition, as both teams clash this Sunday for a ticket to play in the money spinning CAF Confederation Cup's group stage.
The Peoples Elephants will be at home in Aba to relaunch their campaign for the African title when they host the Pride of Rivers for a vital win ahead of the return leg in Port-harcourt.
Coach Fatai Osho whose side were dropped from the elite CAF Champions League by the Sudanese giants,Al-Merrikh on five/two aggregate, will be fighting hard to secure the ticket.
But Coach Stanley Eguma tutored side will be using the crucial encounter to consolidate on their good run in the CAF Confederation, having comprehensively thrashed South African side, Bloemfontein FC both home and away, by five/nil aggregate, to get this stage of the competition.
Both tacticians strongly believed that the stake is higher and will want to apply every tactics in their arsenal to ensure victory in today's encounter.
