Ogun State House of Assembly through its Committee on Finance and Appropriation will this Monday, 31st August, 2026 commence its appraisal of the year 2026 budget performance of Ministries, Departments and Agencies of Government in the State.
Clerk/Head of Legislative Service, Mr. Sakiru Adebakin who made this known in a statement, said that the exercise holding daily beginning from 10.00am prompt will end on Tuesday, 8th September, 2026
"The exercise is for the assessment of the second quarter (January - June), and will run from Monday, 31st, August, through Tuesday, 8th September, 2026"
The statement stated that the exercise, "is part of the constitutional responsibilities of the legislative arm, meant to assess the level of compliance of Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) to the State 2026 Appropriation Law, with a view to ensuring value for government resources in policy and project implementation
The statement therefore enjoined all Heads of MDAs to submit all relevant documents, and attend the exercise in line with the schedule earlier sent to them.
